LEGO reveals its biggest set ever! Hope you have table space!

LEGO has officially revealed the biggest set in company history, and it is not messing around! The new LEGO Architecture Sagrada Familia set is a 12,060-piece replica of Barcelona’s iconic basilica. Yes, 12,060 pieces. That is less of a “fun weekend build” and more of a “please cancel my plans and bring snacks” situation.
The set is available for pre-order now ahead of its Nov. 1 release and costs $799.99. It arrives as Barcelona marks the 100th anniversary of architect Antoni Gaudí’s death.
Once built, the model stands about 2 feet tall, more than 18 inches wide and 15 inches deep. It also includes a stained-glass window effect meant to mirror the way light moves through the real church. The set features all 18 symbolic towers, three detailed facades and a forest-like interior. This set is so big and complex that LEGO recommends it for builders 18 and older, with an estimated build time of 25 to 35 hours. In other words, it is beautiful, historic and massive.
Also, 12,060 pieces is a lot of little plastic bricks plotting against your bare feet in the middle of the night!
