Yes, I know I’m a grown adult. But one thing I still miss about cereal is getting a toy inside the box.
Well, guess what? It’s back!!
Kellogg’s is bringing playable toys back to cereal boxes for a limited time, and honestly, this might be the most fun grocery aisle news in a while. The promotion is tied to the release of “Toy Story 5,” and if you’re thinking it’s been forever since cereal came with a prize, you’re right. This is the first time in more than a decade that Kellogg’s has put toys directly inside its cereal boxes.
Some special-edition boxes will include classic in-box toys. Others will have collectible items like spoons, trading cards and movie ticket promotions inspired by “Toy Story 5.”
The boxes are set to hit stores nationwide starting Sunday, April 26. And “Toy Story 5” arrives in theaters June 19.
