Kacey Musgraves is bringing her ‘Middle of Nowhere’ tour to Ball Arena this fall

Eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves is heading back to Denver. The country-pop superstar announced her “Middle of Nowhere” North American Tour Wednesday, and Denver’s Ball Arena is on the list — Tuesday, Oct. 13. The 30-date arena tour kicks off Aug. 21 in Chicago (on Kacey’s birthday, no less) and winds its way across the country before wrapping up with two nights in Seattle in late October. The Denver show will feature Carter Faith as the opening act, and the tour’s broader lineup of supporting artists includes Midland, Flatland Cavalry, Charles Wesley Godwin and William Beckmann, among others.
The tour celebrates Musgraves’ sixth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, which drops this Friday, May 1. Written during a period of post-breakup reflection, the album leans into pedal steel, accordion and Texas dancehall rhythms while folding in touches of bluegrass, pop and even Norteño and Zydeco. It features some pretty incredible collaborators, including Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings and — notably for Colorado fans — Boulder’s own Gregory Alan Isakov. Lead single “Dry Spell” is already turning heads for its sharp wit and self-awareness, and the title track was inspired by a literal roadside sign in Musgraves’ tiny hometown of Golden, Texas — population under 300.
Before the tour even begins, you can catch Kacey on TV — she’s set to perform on the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, airing live on Prime Video Sunday, May 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
