It’s time to spring ahead!

Mar 5, 2024, 7:34 AM | Updated: 10:22 am

Just a reminder Daylight savings time comes this weekend. You know how this works , when you go to bed on Saturday night you set your clock ahead by one hour. I gues we lose a hour of sleep. The reason for the shift in time is because the government set it up as a measure to conserve energy. There have been attempts to maske daylight saving time the new standard time. Many states already do that.  Why don’t we in  Colorado? It’s because research has found that the benefit of longer daylight is negated by increased energy usage in the morning.
