Comet 3I/ATLAS reaches its closest proximity to sun

Odds are, probably not, but it is fun to speculate as 3I/ATLAS will be at it’s closest proximity to the sun, therefore us. If you haven’t heard over the past few months, back in June, scientists found only the third object in history to enter our solar system from elsewhere.
The Manhattan-sized object, according to a Harvard professor, is exhibiting behavior that differs from a normal comet or similar object, he believes there is a 30-40 percent chance it could be an alien mothership just doing a quick drive by to check out the neighborhood.
He even went as far as to suggest that people should take vacations before October 29 just in case. Most likely, we will never know what it really is, but as was famously said on “The X-Files” I want to believe.
