How Long Does It Take To Burn The Calories in Halloween Candy?

I saw an article at  Stateline about how long it takes to burn off the calories from popular Halloween candy, and here is what they said;

Skittles … 80 calories … need to do 543 jumping jacks to burn them off

Kit Kat bars … 70 calories .. need to do 10 minutes on a rowing machine to burn them off

One Fun Size package of M&M’s … 73 calories … need to do jumping jacks for 9 minutes to burn them off

Single Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup … 105 calories …. need to jog for 7 minutes to burn it off

Fun Size Milky Way, Mounds, Snickers and Twix bars … each have 80 calories … need to do 9 minutes on elliptical machine to burn them off

Eight pieces of Starburst candy … 160 calories … 50 minutes of Pilates will burn them off

Wow! Considering the average child reportedly consumes 3,500 calories from Halloween candy, that’s a lot of exercise to burn that off.

Now, the danger is an adult being left alone with a bowl of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. LOL!  – Jim
