If your backyard has been missing that very specific “après-ski but make it dinner party” energy, Telluride may have just the thing.
A municipality on Colorado’s Western Slope is offering locals a rare chance to own a gondola cabin from Telluride. Even better, these are not just standard cable cars. They come with dining tables inside. Because why eat at a normal patio set when you could serve tacos inside a retired gondola like a person with vision and possibly too much space in the garage?
The cabins offer a very Colorado conversation piece for anyone who loves ski town charm, quirky décor or making the neighbors quietly wonder what is happening over the fence.
No word on whether it comes with mountain views, hot chocolate or someone yelling, “Last chair!” in the distance — but honestly, the table is a strong start.
