Of course tax season is here again and that is crazy tine for you and costs money. Well good news Metropolitan State University is here to help out. The students there have a direct hand in helping Colorado tax payers get the job done. You make an appointment, you go in and get your taxes done by the students that are certified through the IRS. It’s called the VITA program which means Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. It is totally free! The students have everything they need. they can e-file with the IRS and Colorado. These students are as good as any run-of-the-mill tax preparation service.

Most households that make less than $64,000 a year will qualify for free VITA services. To schedule an appointment, click here.
