Stone Canyon-related fundraisers:

Support Our Farm’s Recovery from Stone Canyon Fire

“Our house may have survived but our family farm was destroyed. 3 houses down from the start of the Stone Cayon Fire, we live on Eagle Ridge Road. We lost 12 chickens, 3 livestock shelters and all feed/supplies. Boulder rescue saved our 12 goats and dogs; we are forever thankful for their help. We need to rebuild shelters/barns for our 13 goats and 2 great Pyrenees live stock guardian dogs. Our fencing may have been destroyed during the fire. Asking for help. Thank you very much.”

Alexander Mountain-related fundraisers:

Help Stacy Scott’s Family After Fire Evacuation

“Hi friends, I am asking for any support you can offer. My high school friend Stacy Scott (Carmichael), her hubby Mike, kids, and animals have been evacuated from the Alexander Mountain fire. When she left yesterday, the Fire chief said the fire was only 2 miles away. So they were only able to pack up kids and most animals, they had to free chickens and duckies.

They currently need clothing, food, and hotel money to keep the big dogs with her. The hotel they are in is in Loveland and waived the animal fee and allowed the large dogs in, thankfully.

The goats are at a friend’s home for now, however, if the fire moves more toward Loveland they will need to relocate again. The kids are staying with their older sister in Thornton. Stacy & Mike need to stay close enough to load dogs and goats up in the back of her truck and move them again.

We talked about getting a trailer up to her to get the goats but it would be hard with all the traffic.

So we think it would be best for her to stay near the goats.

If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated! We would donate any additional funds not used to other fire evacuees.

If you have any questions you can contact me directly. I just want to try and take as much stress off of this family as possible.

Thank you, our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the fires right now. All funds will go directly to the Scott family.”

Rebuild Sylvan Dale Ranch After Devastating Fire

“Please help us raise money to restore Sylvan Dale Ranch following a massive fire taking over Northern Colorado. This ranch was the main retreat location for our services to prevent suicide. More details below:

On Monday, July 29th, emergency responders received a notification about a wildfire on Alexander Mountain near Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Northern Colorado. As of July 30th, the fire is 0% contained and stretched over 1,820 acres. The ranch has already suffered extreme damages to the property as the fire is ongoing. Help us raise money to rebuild the ranch so we can partner with them to continue our efforts in making a safe space for individuals to meet and find supportive community in their healing journey.”

Support Stoney River Lodge Through Wildfire Evacuations

“Hello all, my name is Joshua, and my mother’s name is Lori. We know many of you by first name and have enjoyed sharing your experiences with you at Stoney River Lodge. We are a family owned and operated lodging in the Big Thompson Canyon.

If you have not already heard, there is a large wildfire burning called Alexander Mountain Fire (NOCO Alerts or Watch Duty app for updates). As of now the wildfire is currently just across the street and river from the lodge. Everyone was evacuated on Monday, July 29th, we all made it safely down the mountain with family, friends, and animals of the like.
They have turned the electric power grid off to the canyon and we are unaware of the physical status of the lodge. As many of you know we operate the lodge during the tourist season between May and October with July and August generating most of our income needed for the other six months we are not able to operate.
Today, we are actively calling all guests that have reservations and issuing refunds. We want to be very respectful of others’ money, but this is going to heavily impact us financially and mentally based on the lodge’s history, our home, and everything left behind.
We are looking to the hearts of the community to help us get through this tragic event. Hopefully the lodge physically has no damage once we are allowed to return but we will keep everyone updated.”
