Thousands of travelers pass through DIA every day, walk by construction and other unique statues and artwork. On Friday, there will be another thing that stops travelers in their tracks. DIA is hosting its annual Puppy Bowl where several adoptable puppies will be running around a gated area in the Jeppesen Terminal.
The airport has hosted the annual Puppy Bowl for eight years with the Denver Animal Shelter. It’s back by popular demand, there will be another round of puppies at the airport on Friday.
The puppies will play in a friendly and adorable competition on a mini-football field ahead of the Super Bowl, which takes place on Sunday at New Orleans. There will be cats as well, that should be interesting.
While people can watch and play with the puppies, the furry friends aren’t carry-ons for travelers passing through. However the pets featured at the Puppy Bowl will be available for adoptation on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Denver Animal Shelter on Bayaud Avenue.
