Have you arrived at DIA with what you thought was plenty of time before your flight only to find the TSA security line winding around the terminal like a conga line? Well the process it about to get a bit easier for us all.

Starting tomorrow (June 1st), a lane at the Bridge Security checkpoint will be set aside for customers who reserve their spot through a program called DEN Reserve.

Passengers will be able to reserve a time for free, with no account or membership required. The goal is to expedite the security process.

Appointments are available daily from 5 am to 5 pm and can be scheduled up to three days in advance and also one to four hours before departure. With your appointment, you can arrive at the “DEN Reserve” security line within a 15 minute window of your appointment time.

You just need to select the airline you’re flying on, destination, flight number, and number of people in your party.

Thank you to DIA for this novel idea and happy traveling this summer!
