Denver Broncos training camp: Fans can attend 16 practices

The Denver Broncos have announced that they will have 16 training camp dates open to the public, which is tied for the third-most in the NFL. The first practice will take place on Friday, July 26. Only the Ravens, who limited fan capacity to 1,000, and the Kansas City Chiefs have more practices open to the public than the Broncos, with 20 and 19 practices, respectively.
Additionally, the Broncos are one of the few remaining franchises that do not charge admission or parking for their camp sessions. The team has stated that it will announce its full training camp schedule on Wednesday.
This is a remarkable development considering that just six months ago, the team was uncertain if they would be able to have any training camp sessions open to the public due to plans to construct a new state-of-the-art headquarters and practice facility. However, the start of construction has been delayed until after training camp, allowing the team to increase its public practices by 33 percent. The completion of the facility is still schedule for the opening of training camp in 2025.
The Broncos’ training camp will be a must see for many fans as the team will be focusing on their first-round rookie quarterback, Bo Nix.
The team will continue to utilize their free mobile ticketing system that was introduced last year. It was found that out of the 25,000-plus fans who attended their 12 public training camp practices last year, only 15 percent were season-ticket holders.
Two important dates to mark in the training camp schedule this year are ‘Back Together Weekend’ on Saturday, July 27, and a joint practice with the Green Bay Packers on Friday, August 16.
During the practices, there will be appearances from player alumni and mascots, as well as activities like Thunder and face painting.
