Colorado ski lift tickets for under $20? It’s a reality this November

Last winter I was looking to take my family of five on a little staycation to a Colorado ski resort, and I kid you not, it was more expensive than a trip to Disney World. So, this deal is great to say the least…
Southwestern Colorado’s Purgatory Resort, near Durango, is set to open on November 16, and lift tickets for that day start at just $27 and come with a complimentary pancake breakfast. Tickets for the following week can currently be purchased for as low as $11.
Purgatory uses a dynamic pricing model, higher demand on a given day means a higher price and vice versa.
Please note that you’re looking at about a six-and-a-half-hour drive from the Denver area to get to Purgatory, but depending on the date, it may be well worth the drive!
