Colorado has some of the most spoiled dogs

Denver, CO — What many already know has now been confirmed with a Forbes study, Coloradans love their dogs. But where do they fall among the most spoiled dogs in the U.S.?
A recent Forbes Advisory study reveals that more than 1 in 5 humans spend more money on Christmas gifts for their dog than on gifts for their friends and family. After survey of 10,000 dog owners using specific metrics¹, a conclusion was made.
First in line is Florida. As Forbes reports, the sunshine state has the largest group of dog owners who spend more money on their dog’s health and grooming than their own.
Next, in second comes Alaska, followed by Washington.
With a score of 82.04 out of 100, Colorado dogs are in the fourth most spoiled state, just five points ahead of California. More than one in four dog owners in Colorado have pushed their dogs in a stroller. Fifty one percent of Colorado dog owners order their pups a treat at a restaurant.
Additionally Colorado dogs owners are highly likely to throw birthday parties for their dog, take their dog to dog-friendly activities and spending more money on their dog’s health and grooming than they do on their own.
States with the least spoiled dogs were:
Oklahoma
Indiana
Wisconsin
Idaho
New Mexico
South Carolina.
