Colorado has some of the most Olympic-qualified athletes in the US

The opening ceremonies for the 2024 Summer Olympics stat next Friday, and there are going to be plenty of familiar Coloradan faces on your TV screen.
U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team players Sophia Smith and Mallory Swanson as well as Boston Celtics’ player Derrick White will be three Coloradans representing Team USA , along with 26 others from Colorado who qualified.
Over 7600 athletes in the U.S. have qualified for the Summer Olympics. Colorado tied for the sixth-most athletes who have qualifie3d for this years Summer Olympics. The full list of athletes and their states is on Team USA’s website.
