Tacos, dirt bikes, mountaintop thrills and spring walks are on deck across Colorado this weekend. Here’s what’s up, Colorado!
The Denver Cinco de Mayo Festival returns to Civic Center Park on Saturday and Sunday for its 37th year. One of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the world will feature live music, dance performances, food and drinks, a community parade, chihuahua races, a taco-eating contest, kids activities, artisans and crafters. The AMA Supercross series rides back into Denver on Saturday at Empower Field at Mile High. FanFest runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with riders, exhibits, giveaways and vendors before racing begins at 4:30 p.m. Get info here.
For mountain thrills, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park opens for the summer season on Friday. The park features the Cliffhanger coaster, Defiance freefall coaster, the Giant Canyon Swing and the new Little Feet Playland for younger kids. Visit their website here.
