Denver, CO – It seemed like everyone was impatiently awaiting the grand re-opening of the iconic Casa Bonita in the early months of 2023, so much so there was even a virtual waiting line of over 15,000 people waiting for it to reopen.
But as news began to trickle in about how their reopening would go, it was clear there would be no long lines pouring out the door, but instead entry would require a ticket, and the only way to get invited to buy the ticket would to be to sign up for their email club.
Unfortunately as we are in the final days of 2023, many people have yet to receive the invite to purchase the tickets which range from $29.99-$39.99 for adults and $19.99-$24.99 for kids. What makes it even worse for those wanting to go, is several people have managed to go to the restaurants multiple times, even Ed Sheeran himself managed to get entry (no word if he signed up for the email list.)
Casa Bonita opened after over $40 million in renovations from South Park creators Matt Stone & Trey Parker and what they touted as a much improved menu under local chef Dana Rodriguez who formerly worked at Work & Class, Super Mega Bien & Cantina Loca)
One would have to imagine that at some point in 2024 Casa Bonita will begin allowing people to buy tickets without being on the email list or allow people just to show up and purchase in person, but until then for many they will wait, or have just given up on wanting to go altogether.
You would think one of our staff members at KOSI 101 could get an invite since we were parodied in season 3 episode 10… Korn’s Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery, with the line “We’re here live at the KOSI 102. 1 Halloween Haunt.”
