Boulder’s beloved pizzeria takes another bite out of national TV

We’re big fans of pizza and the Food Network. Specifically, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and host Guy Fieri. Put them together and we’re glued to the show. A great local pizza joint is set to be featured again.

Audrey Jane’s Pizza Garage at 2675 13th Street in Boulder is set to make their third appearance on the Food Network. The family-owned pizzeria has already been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the past. The Colorado chef impressed Guy Fieri, host of the show, with a unique dish featuring pig lips. Fieri enjoyed the food so much that he decided to feature the restaurant on his new show, Triple D Nation, a spinoff of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

The preview caption for the upcoming episode highlights the spicy artisanal pies and Rocky Mountain twist on the classic Italian sub offered by the pizza joint.

Owned by siblings Audrey Kelly and Peter Sherman, the pizza shop is a family affair. While Sherman handles the business side of things, Kelly focuses on creating new recipes and maintaining classics like her mom’s famous sesame crust pizza.

Kelly’s dedication to perfecting her craft paid off when she won first place in the “Pizza in Teglia” competition in Naples, Italy. Despite previously working long hours at the restaurant, Kelly now prioritizes spending time with her twins and relies on the team she and Sherman have built to keep the shop running smoothly.

Audrey Jane’s website says, “Here at the Garage we are always playing around with new recipes and ideas, bringing our customers the freshest, highest quality ingredients. We use organic greens and veggies, as well as make all of our recipes from scratch in-house. We are constantly evolving our recipes and techniques to serve the best products.”
