Billy Joel cancels upcoming shows after brain disorder diagnosis

Billy Joel has made the tough call to cancel all his upcoming shows after being diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus, a brain disorder that’s been giving him trouble with hearing, vision and balance. He shared that performing has only made things worse, so under his doctor’s advice, he’s focusing on recovery and undergoing physical therapy. While he’s stepping away from the stage for now, he’s grateful for the support from fans and is looking forward to the day he can perform again. He shared the news on his Facebook page.
