Ideas for back-to-school meal prep

Raise your hand if you’ve stood in front of the fridge at 7 a.m. completely blanking on what to pack for lunch. Same.
Here’s a fun little gut punch — parents spend 432 hours a year on meal planning and prep. That’s basically 18 full days of your life. You’re welcome.
The good news? A little Sunday prep goes a long way.
Easy wins:
Build a “Grab Station” in the fridge
Pre-portion snacks, cut fruit and stack easy lunch ingredients so your kids can even help themselves.
Hard boil a dozen eggs Sunday night
Cheap. Easy. Protein. Done.
Make a wrap assembly line
Set out tortillas, proteins and veggies and let the kids build their own. They eat what they make. Usually.
Double every dinner
Cook once, eat twice. Tonight’s pasta is tomorrow’s lunch. Nobody has to know.
Pick five dinners. Rotate. Repeat.
Decision fatigue is real, mama.
Bottom line — you cannot pour from an empty cup, and you definitely cannot pack a lunch half asleep without a plan.
You’ve got this. Again, allegedly.
