Adult cat adoption fees reduced at Denver Animal Shelter thru May 31st!

If you’ve been thinking about adding a cat to the family, now is a great time to help!

The Denver Animal Shelter has reduced adoption fees on adult cats after taking in a large number of cats following a hoarding investigation last week. Through the end of May, adoption fees for all cats age 1 and older are just $45.   Even better, every cat available for adoption is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before going home.

This is especially close to my heart since I also do a feature with the animal shelter to help get pets adopted. I love any chance to help these animals find the loving homes they deserve.

That being said, if you’re more of a dog person, here’s a reminder: Mile High Mutt adoption fees are still available through April. Adoption fees for dogs older than 1 year and weighing more than 50 pounds are just $50.
