Adele to take a Hiatus: Singer to put music on hold for a ‘Long Break’
We are always excited when Adele releases new music however, it may be some time before we hear her release anything new.
Adele is set to conclude her residency in Las Vegas on November 23, marking the end of her “Weekends With Adele” shows. Fans only have 10 more opportunities to see her perform before she takes a break, as she mentioned in a recent interview.
During a chat with Germany’s ZDF, the 36-year-old singer surprised everyone by stating, “I have no plans for new music.” She expressed her desire to step away from the spotlight for a while and explore other creative endeavors.
Adele began her Weekends run in November 2022 and will wrap it up with a final show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Before that, she will have a series of performances in Munich at a venue with an 80,000-person capacity on various dates in August.
After completing 100 live shows in the past two years, Adele admitted to ZDF, she “doesn’t like being famous,” added, “I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”
