ABC reportedly plans to turn a John Mayer song into a drama TV show.

What’s going on: ABC will take the song “Heart of Life,” which is the fifth song on Mayer’s 2006 album “Continuum,” and develop a TV show with a pilot episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Heart of Life” was not one of the singles from the 2006 album.

“Still, it’s an emotional song and one that seems to be at least semi-autobiographical,” according to Uproxx.

Show details: As THR reports, “‘Heart of Life’ follows two sets of adult siblings from wildly different worlds who discover they are related and must reassess everything they thought they knew about their shared father. As they explore the mystery of their separate childhoods, they’ll experience the difficulty in overcoming the sins of the past, and learn the joys of reuniting with long-lost family.”

Cast: It’s unclear who will be cast for the show. No words either on if Mayer will appear in the show or if he is involved in any way.

Tour: Mayer is set to launch an international tour in 2019.
