A Huge New Costco Is Coming to Littleton, Because Apparently We Needed Bigger Carts

Littleton shoppers, start stretching. A new 159,000-square-foot Costco is planned for the area, which means bulk snacks, giant rotisserie chickens and the very real possibility of going in for paper towels and leaving with patio furniture.
The new warehouse would bring another major shopping option to the southwest metro area, which is good news for families, bargain hunters and anyone who considers free samples a legitimate lunch plan. No judgment. We’ve all been there.
A Costco this size typically includes groceries, household items, electronics, clothing, pharmacy services and enough oversized items to make you question the size of your garage.
Details such as the exact opening date and full project timeline are still the big questions, but the planned store is already getting attention from Littleton-area residents who either love the convenience or are already mentally preparing for the parking lot situation.
Either way, Costco fans in Littleton may soon have a new place to buy 48 rolls of toilet paper, a kayak and a sheet cake on a Tuesday. As one does.
