Group of California elementary schoolers create hotline full of encouraging messages

A group of elementary schoolers in California accidentally created the hotline we didn’t know we needed.

Students at West Side Elementary School in Healdsburg, California, launched the “Peptoc Hotline” — a phone line full of encouraging messages recorded by actual children.

The name? A misspelling of “pep talk” by the kids themselves. And honestly? That’s already the best part.

The public art project features a menu of uplifting — and unintentionally hilarious — messages designed to help anyone having a rough day. Whether you’re stressed, overwhelmed, or just really tired of making lunches for people who won’t eat the crusts, these tiny humans have something to say to you.

And somehow, it works.

Look, if a group of elementary schoolers can take time out of their very busy schedules of recess and snack time to remind you that life is going to be okay…maybe it actually is.
