If you have a playful dog who has to be involved in whatever you’re doing (cooking, folding laundry, going for a walk, having a conversation) then you’re going to totally get this story.
During a cross-country ski competition at the Winter Olympics on Wednesday, a surprise four-legged visitor showed up near the end of the course and decided, “Oh, we’re racing? Cool. I’m in.” It happened during qualifications for the women’s team sprint. A dog suddenly appeared near the finish, ran alongside a couple of skiers and sprinted toward the line like it belonged there. And honestly? The confidence. The enthusiasm. The pure “I’m just happy to be here” energy.
One of the broadcasters even joked, “We have a visitor. Maybe not a streaker, but we certainly have somebody who wants to be part of the Olympic action.” Tell me that’s not every fun-loving dog ever!
This absolutely made my day. If you need a quick, wholesome moment (and don’t we all?), check out the full story here: 9news.com
