Looking for a new job before the holidays? The U.S. Postal Service is hiring in Denver, and this weekend could be your chance to get your foot in the door.
USPS is hosting two job fairs as it works to fill more than 200 positions at its Denver mail processing facilities. The openings are mostly for mail handler assistants, with starting pay at $19.02 an hour, paid biweekly.
The jobs also come with benefits like regular pay increases, paid vacation, health insurance and opportunities to grow. USPS says some mail handler positions can pay up to $36.57 an hour, while equipment operators can earn up to $37.15 an hour.
At the job fairs, applicants can learn about available jobs, get help applying and talk with hiring representatives.
