Union Pacific’s Big Boy locomotive to stop in Colorado during first-ever holiday tour

One of the world’s largest steam locomotives will be getting a dose of holiday spirit this year for the next time it comes to Colorado.
Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 has made its way through Colorado on many occasions, but this year it will be making its first ever holiday tour across the country and will be stopping in Colorado on Saturday, November 21.
During this holiday trip, people will even be able to buy tickets to ride in one of the vintage passenger cars as it travels from Wyoming to Denver, and you’ll be joined by none other than Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus themselves.
Ticket sales will go to Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
The Big Boy No. 4014 is one of the eight remaining Big Boy trains that remain in the U.S., and was initially built in the 1940s to help transport equipment during World War II.
