Tim Tebow Returning To Denver For Broncos Home Opener

Tebowmania is making a quick comeback in Denver — just without the jump passes and fourth-quarter chaos. Probably better for our collective blood pressure.
Tim Tebow will return to Empower Field at Mile High for the Broncos’ home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, marking his first time back since that unforgettable 80-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas in the 2012 playoff win over Pittsburgh.
Tebow will serve as the team’s alumni flag planter before kickoff and will also be honored as the Broncos Legend of the Game on the stadium’s video board.
His time in Denver was short, dramatic and very orange. Before Peyton Manning arrived and eventually led the Broncos to a Super Bowl championship, Tebow gave fans one of the wildest rides in team history.
There’s also a sweet current-day connection: Tebow has built a friendship with Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, who has called him a great friend and role model.
So yes, Denver, dust off those No. 15 jerseys. For one day, Tebowmania gets a Mile High encore. Stretch before you do “The Tebow”.
