The Colorado State Fair Is Here and the Lineup Doesn’t Disappoint

Aug 27, 2026, 9:26 AM

PUEBLO, Colo. — Colorado’s biggest summer send-off is officially underway.

The Colorado State Fair opened Friday in Pueblo and runs through Monday, Sept. 7 — giving you a solid two weeks to eat something on a stick, watch things get destroyed and catch some live music along the way. This year marks the 154th edition of the fair, and organizers are bringing plenty to keep things interesting.

Who’s Performing?

The 2026 concert lineup is a solid mix of country heavyweights and a healthy dose of nostalgia. Here’s the full rundown:

  • Friday, Aug. 28 — Ian Munsick
  • Saturday, Aug. 29 — Dylan Scott
  • Sunday, Aug. 30 — Neal McCoy
  • Friday, Sept. 4 — Jordan Davis
  • Saturday, Sept. 5 — I Love the 90s Tour: Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Color Me Badd and C+C Music Factory
  • Sunday, Sept. 6 — The Fray with Rome
  • Sunday, Sept. 6 — Celebración de los Charros with Banda Machos

Jordan Davis Brings the Country Heat

Country music singer Jordan Davis takes the stage at the Southwest Motors Event Center on Friday, Sept. 4. If you’ve had a radio on at any point in the last few years, you already know his catalog — the guy has stacked up No. 1 hits including “Singles You Up,” “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot,” “Buy Dirt,” “What My World Spins Around,” and “Tucson Too Late.”

Not a bad night out.

Ice Ice Baby, It’s 1995 Again

Look, nobody is going to pretend this isn’t the most exciting thing on the schedule. Vanilla Ice brings the I Love the 90s Tour to the fair on Saturday, Sept. 5, and he’s not coming alone. Tone Loc, Color Me Badd and C+C Music Factory are all along for the ride.

If you have any nostalgia at all for the decade that gave us frosted tips and cargo shorts, this is your night. Go. You know you want to.

Beyond the Music

The fair isn’t just a concert venue with funnel cakes — though that alone might be worth the drive from Denver. The schedule also includes PRCA rodeos, a ranch rodeo, monster trucks and demolition derby, because apparently the goal is to offer something for absolutely everyone.

About Those Beach Boys…

You may have heard the Beach Boys were originally on the bill. They were — but that show, scheduled for Sept. 3, was canceled back in July. So if you were counting on “Good Vibrations” to close out your summer, you’ll need a different plan. The rest of the lineup should soften the blow just fine.

Getting There

The Colorado State Fair is held at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo. From Denver, you’re looking at roughly a two-hour drive south on I-25 — not a bad road trip for a fair that’s been running for 154 years.
