WATCH: ‘Jumanji: Open World’ Trailer Teases One Last Game
Jul 29, 2026, 11:03 AM | Updated: 11:03 am
The official trailer for Jumanji: Open World is here, and honestly? It looks wild enough to make even the most exhausted carpool mom stop scrolling.
Here’s the deal — the video game world is officially bleeding into reality, and the teenage heroes come face-to-face with their own video game avatars, who are hilariously stuck in “demo mode.” The avatars still play by video game rules, which the trailer proves when Dr. Bravestone gets run over by a truck and just… regenerates. Must be nice. Some of us can’t even recover from a bad night’s sleep.
The film is being billed as the final installment in the Jumanji franchise — and they’re going out with heart. The movie will include a special tribute to Robin Williams, which, let’s be honest, already has us reaching for the tissues.
Originally slated for a Christmas Day release, the studio moved the premiere up to December 11 to avoid a crowded holiday box office. Smart move, honestly. Nobody wants to fight that parking lot.
So mark your calendars, grab your kids, and prepare to explain to them why you’re crying at a Jumanji movie.
No judgments here. We’ve all been there.
🎮 Jumanji: Open World hits theaters December 11.
