2026-27 Avalanche schedule released

Last season didn’t end the way the Colorado Avalanche had hoped for. Their expectations were Stanley Cup or bust. This upcoming season, the expectations will remain the same as they prepare for their new 84-game schedule and a Stanley Cu.

The Avalanche will open their season at home against the Los Angeles Kings with an 8pm start time. The Avs will also participate in the 2027 Winter Classic on New Year’s Eve as they take on the Utah Mammoth at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

The upcoming season will also feature 10 back-to-back games for the Avs with four of the 10 taking place here in Denver. The 2026 Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes will come to Colorado on Dec. 18.
