‘Tales From The Crypt’ finds first streaming platform home

Despite being an HBO staple back in the 1980s and 90s, “Tales from the Crypt” has yet to find a home on streaming, even on HBO Max…until now.

Beginning May 1, “Tales from the Crypt” will bring the Cryptkeeper and all of his creepiness to your home on the Shudder premium streaming platform.

The show, which has featured a who’s who of Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Demi Moore, John Travolta, Teri Hatcher, Michael J. Fox and countless more, ran on HBO for seven seasons from June of 1989 through July of 1996, totaling to 93 episodes and inspiring several spin-off movies, such “Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight” and “Tales from the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood.”

Season 1 will debut on Shudder on May 1 and every Friday, another season will release through June 12.
