If you’re looking for something to do around Denver this weekend, we’ve got you. From a family-friendly Irish festival to prix-fixe dinners, a quick road trip with jaw-dropping wildlife views and a packed schedule at Ball Arena. Here are a few ideas worth bookmarking (and sharing).

Blarney on Belmar (Lakewood)

A St. Patrick’s Day celebration that’s easy, festive and totally doable with kids in tow. Expect Irish music and dancing, plus plenty of spots to grab a bite or a drink nearby.
When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday
Where: Belmar Plaza

Denver Restaurant Week

This is the easiest excuse to finally try that place you’ve been meaning to visit, or revisit your favorite. Restaurants across the metro offer multi-course menus at set price tiers ($25, $35, $45, $55).
When: Starts Friday, runs through Sunday, March 15

Monte Vista Crane Festival (road trip!)

If you’re into nature, wildlife or photography, this weekend in the San Luis Valley is a standout. The big draw: thousands of birds in flight.  We’re talking cranes, geese and ducks, with the mountains as a backdrop.
Where: Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge area

Ball Arena: Nuggets, Mammoth and Avs

Want something loud, fun and indoors? Ball Arena is busy all weekend.
