Give blood with KOSI 101.1 and Vitalant

KOSI 101.1 is teaming up with Colorado’s primary nonprofit blood services provider Vitalant (formerly Bonfils Blood Center) to host the Bonneville Media Blood Drive on Tuesday, September 3, in Greenwood Village.
Blood donors are needed to help replenish the blood supply, especially for type O which dipped to emergency levels this summer. All blood types are critically needed, especially type O – the most transfused type. Platelets are also constantly in demand to help cancer patients, people with blood disorders, open-heart surgeries and organ transplants.
