What are the top unsolved mysteries in Colorado?

As the FBI just renewed a plea for information in a 22-year-old case where three people where shot and killed at Littleton bowling alley, we take a look back at some of the most bizarre cases and unsolved mysteries in Colorado’s history.
First, the murders that have gone unsolved:
JonBenét Ramsey: The 1996 murder of this 6-year-old beauty queen in her Boulder home remains one of the most notorious cold cases in American history. Despite countless theories and investigations, the killer remains unidentified.
Lynda Avery: In 1987, Lynda Avery was found stabbed to death in her Aurora basement. The investigation led to a “Steve” she was dating, but no witnesses placed them together the night of the murder.
Mark Groezinger: This 1984 murder in Leadville saw the victim shot at his business. His roommate fled the area and hasn’t been seen since, although theories of suicide and foul play linger.
Heather Dawn Church: This 13-year-old disappeared from her Aurora home in 1991 and was later found murdered. Despite extensive searches and investigations, the killer has never been identified.
Disappearances that have occurred in the state:
Raul Gomez-Garcia: This fugitive shot and killed a Denver police officer in 2005 and vanished despite a massive manhunt. He remains one of Denver’s most wanted fugitives.
Laura Ann Bradbury: In 1984, this 17-year-old left a note stating she was running away from her Denver home and never reappeared. Her whereabouts remain unknown.
