Colorado Ice Castles are opening

Dec 15, 2023, 11:27 AM | Updated: 11:28 am

Denver, CO — It has been two years since the ice castles have opened in Colorado. Now, on Dec. 19, the attraction will open until February.

After renovation in Town Park, the Cripple Creek location is now ready for the public and admission ranges from $22-$27 depending on age.

Temperatures in Teller County have sunk into the single digits allowing for the attraction to open up earlier than expected.

Between Archways, slides, caverns and tunnels, Ice Castles are described as an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairy tales to life.

With a primary goal to make people smile, the attraction is open all week long in the evening and on weekends they typically operate from noon to evenings.
