Jenny and Friends...

JENNY D

Hi, I’m Jenny D and a Colorado native (yeah that is pretty rare these days)! I grew up in Aurora singing at the top of my lungs to Pat Benatar, Heart, Madonna and all the ladies of the 80s. I would drive around with my mom in her metallic green mustang, no seat belt (I know that is bad) and standing in the backseat loving every minute. I think it is why I am so passionate about music and I love EVERY genre. Once I graduated I went to CSU and got a degree from there in Public Relations and Journalism. This I believe strengthened my voice, which is usually laced with sarcasm. I love to make people laugh and I can be your biggest cheerleader. One of the many reasons I love working at KOSI 101.1 is that I am on your Feel Good Station that has the largest variety of music and I get to go to work every day with my best friends and make people happy. It is important for me to be a good role model for my own two little girls and others in our community. As a single mom I get the struggle parents go thru on a daily basis. So if you need a family-friendly way to wake up and feel good in the mornings join Jenny and Friends weekdays from 6-10AM on KOSI 101.1.

STEVE MARSHALL

Hey it’s Steve Marshall the “friends” in Jenny and Friends in the morning. Sorry I’m not a “native”, but a transplant who moved here from California 9 years ago. At one point I was very heavy but decided before my health caught up with me I needed to get better, so started learning more about food and how it impacts the body, eating better and working out. Lost 100 pounds and have mostly kept it off for 15 years. I’m a strong advocate for mental health, especially men’s mental health, which has been mostly overlooked for decades. My family and I are all big animal lovers, at our peak we had 3 cats and 2 dogs, but over the past couple of years that has been dwindled down to ONE 19yo kitty who is totally my girl. Speaking of my family, my wife Megan and I have been married for a few years and I have a fantastic step-daughter who is in the terrible tween stage. (11 going on 21).

KINGS BEACH, CALIFORNIA - JULY 16: Packages of Taylor Farms salad greens are displayed at a Safeway...

Same Colorado linked farm that caused the E.Coli outbreak at McDonalds could be the source of the explosive situation at Taco Bell

Taylor Farms, with a facility in Colorado Springs, is linked to the explosive diarrhea outbreak. Same farm that caused the E.Coli outbreak at McDonalds with contaminated onions. They need to shut that place down. Stay away from shredded lettuce and Taco Bell for now.
