A Centennial, Colorado home may have the best Halloween decorations in America

Decorating for Halloween may not be as common as Christmas, but there are some that go all out for spooky season, including one house in the Denver-area.

“Stricker’s Haunted Yard” in Centennial is not only one of the best decorated yards in Colorado, but it may be one of the best in the U.S.

The house, located at 6636 S. Lafayette St., Centennial 80121, has been decorated for Halloween for the last 16 years, but it keeps getting bigger and better.

It takes the family about two weeks to setup, which includes staging the scenes, running lighting, fog machines, power, and audio/video equipment. Every year is different, with new decorations, updated lighting, fresh fog juice, and new fog machines, and it costs them between $1,200-1,500 per season.

The Halloween display runs throughout the month of October, ending on Halloween night, but make plans to go back after Thanksgiving as they also have an incredible Christmas display!
