Woman “MacGyvers” her way out of medieval bathroom!

A student at The University of Cambridge was trapped for seven hours in a medieval tower bathroom before she figured out how to rescue herself with her own eyeliner!

Dr. Krisztina Ilko lives in the 16th century tower and a plumber had broken the bathroom lock without telling anyone. She found herself trapped in there with no windows, she screamed but with the thick walls no one could hear her.

She finally remembered her, “MacGyver” training from childhood TV and used her eyeliner pencil to hold the latch down while she used a cotton swab to hook the handle and escape!
