What you need to know about Denver’s next snowstorm.

The first Thursday and Friday of Denver’s snowiest month of the year could start off, well, snowy.

There is a high chance of a storm bringing snow to the Denver metro area on Thursday evening into Friday, potentially accumulating a few inches, particularly in the foothills west of Denver and on the Palmer Divide to the south.

Snowfall is expected to begin in the mountains on Wednesday night and persist throughout most of Thursday. In the Denver region, a mix of snow and rain is possible in the afternoon on Thursday, followed by heavier snowfall on Thursday night and Friday morning. Light snow is anticipated during the day on Friday before diminishing in the early afternoon.

The Friday morning commute could be quick slick.
