Helloo New Friends! My name is Stella. I am a 6 1/2 year old shephard mix. I understand the confusion with my name so please let me explain. I was originally adopted back in 2015 as Lola, was given my new name Stella and moved to San Diego. Due to a lifestyle change, my owner had to make the decision to give me back to MaxFund. My wonderful friends at MaxFund drove out there to pick me up. We had a lot of fun on the way back. Since being gone I have learned my new name and respond very well to it.

I am quite the adventurous dog, I have successfully completed a road trip to San Diego and Denver. I do love car rides and have excellent car manners! I either sleep or stare out the window enjoying the view.
I am a very smart girl and even know some of my basic commands. I know “sit”, “lay down”, “stay” and as a bonus I can snuggle! I am also a beautiful walker. Just to top it off if you aren’t sold already, I am potty trained. I have a very calm demeanor and enjoy being around people. I do like hanging out with my hooman friends and I would love to go to a home where we can lay in bed together and watch movies!

I do well with some dogs, however, I do not like dogs who don’t respect my boundaries. While on my trip back I met puppies and did well with them and since my time at the shelter I have encountered more dogs that I have been doing well with. I recently went to an adoption event and did have to warn a doggo I didn’t like him in my space. Any potential fur siblings will need to come and meet me. I also do have some resource aggression with food and toys.
