Hiya! My name is Kira, and I am a 5-year-old German Shepherd. I was brought in by a very nice man when my family didn’t want to take care of me anymore. I’m so happy to be here and looking for a new family.

I am still adjusting to my new environment and am quiet and curious. I am a very calm, gentle gal – I love to love and just want to please you. I do very well with dogs, big and small. I am very smart, and know how to sit, stay, come, and shake! Oh, and did I mention that I’m also potty trained!?

I’d really love a house with a big yard to play and sunbathe in. Plus, being a German Shepherd, I really need plenty of space to unwind and be myself. We sure are special, us GSD’s! A hike sounds like something I might like, but I’m not one to hike all day and play all night. I like to be active, but I also like my downtime.
