The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is recalling some cashews that were sold at Trader Joe’s in Colorado. Trader Joe’s 50% Less Sodium Roasted & Salted Whole Cashews, which were sold in 16 states including Colorado are being recalled because of a potential of salmonella.

According to the CDC, salmonella is a bacteria that can make people sick and a salmonella infection could cause diarrhea, stomach cramps and a fever.

The affected cashews, which carry SKU Number 37884, may be contaminated with salmonella. They have lot numbers T12139, T12140, T12141 and T12142.

The FDA advises not to eat the nuts and to return them to the store for a full refund.
