A new report just came out showing which foods have the most residual pesticides on them.  According to  the Environmental Working Group reports 75% of non-organic fresh produce sold in the U.S. has traces of  harmful pesticides.

According to the report, 90% of strawberries, apples, cherries, spinach, nectarines and grapes they tested were positive for two or more pesticides.

In Colorado we tend to like our organic produce- but it does cost more.  Some families only buy organic for the items that are on the top of this list.  What about you?

Out of 46 foods that were tested, here are the worst contenders:

1. Strawberries

2. Spinach

3. Kale, collard and mustard greens

4. Peaches

5. Pears

6. Nectarines

7. Apples

8. Grapes

9. Bell and hot peppers

10. Cherries

11. Blueberries

12. Green beans
