The tradition continues: 96th Western Welcome Week Celebration underway

Join KOSI 101.1 at the 96th annual Western Welcome Week celebration in Littleton tonight August 9th through Sunday August 18th.
Tonight’s kickoff at Stern Park, 5900 S. Spotswood Avenue, includes a concert by the Denver Municipal Band and a drone show as well as food trucks.
There is fun for the whole family with over 40 events benefiting dozens of nonprofits including, gold panning, a fishing derby, art show, craft fair, pancake breakfast, old fashioned cake contest, pig roast and of course the Grand Parade.
Western Welcome Week is held to nurture community spirit, bring together residents and businesses, support service clubs and nonprofits by creating an opportunity for fundraising, and provide festivities and entertainment for families, friends and neighbors
