Supermodel Linda Evangelista Battled Breast Cancer Twice in Five Years

Supermodel Linda Evangelista shares that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, not once, but twice in five years.

The 58 year old former supermodel says she told doctors to “dig a hole” in her chest to “excavate” the tumor. Evangelista was diagnosed first in 2018 after a routine mammogram. The former supermodel said she felt good and thought she was cancer free until last year, 2022, when she found another lump.

Evangelista shares that she told her doctor after the second diagnosis, “I don’t want it to look pretty. I want you to excavate. I want to see a hole in my chest when you’re done. Do you understand me? I’m not dying from this”. 

Last year Evangelista returned to modeling during the New York Fashion Week when she walked for Fendi.
