Miranda Lambert Won't Be Doing Interviews

Miranda Lambert has refused to do interviews to promote her new album because she didn’t want to make the same mistakes as her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, and his new flame, Gwen Stefani, who often gave interviews where they opened up about their romance and divorces.

“She was offered Rolling Stone, a New York Times piece . . . She went to her publicist and said, ‘I don’t want to do any of it. I want the music to speak for me,’ ” a source told us of Lambert.

“She only wanted to do TV performances. She made them turn all of it down. She said, ‘Gwen’s and Blake’s albums didn’t sell, and all they did was do press.’ She’s trying to go Beyoncé and let the music do the talking.” Lambert released her sixth studio album, “The Weight of These Wings,” on Friday, and some of the songs touch on her relationship with Shelton and her new boyfriend Anderson East, with whom, a pal told us, she’s “completely in love.”
