We’ve joked about it, but maybe there is some truth to Denver becoming the new Los Angeles.

First, people are flocking to Colorado.  Second, our housing prices have shot up because of the influx of people and shortage of homes to buy.

Now a new report found that Denver does have one of the highest shares of luxury homes among the U.S.’s large cities – this by the way is homes listed at a $1Million or more.

This is shocking, but in Denver 23.7% of homes are listed at $1Million or more.  That’s almost a quarter of the homes in Denver!

Here is the breakdown of Luxury Home Cities in the US:

  1.  LA –
  2. San Francisco
  3. San Jose
  4. San Diego
  5. Boston
  6. NYC
  7. Seattle
  8. DENVER !!
