Since the track, “All I Want For Christmas” was released in 1994, it has earned $60 million in royalties.
Between it’s 1994 release and 2017, the song has made about $2.6 million per year.
While figures aren’t available for recent years, a yearly royalty of $2.6 million over the past 7 years…means that the song has actually earned something closer to $78 million over the years, just for just the royalties.
Mariah Carey has made even more money off of the hit when you add in her merchandise, concert specials, tours and more. She owns Christmas. No wonder she loves Christmas so much. It’s the gift that keeps on giving to her.
